My favorite kind of building, here you can do everything right from the beginning! Pre-construction planning ensures optimal insulation, choice of equipment, use of natural light, and efficient duct system.
This home gets amazingly close to net-zero at virtually the same square-foot cost as a size-consistent tract home in California. An 8-panel solar array paid for 92% of the yearly utility bills and cost only 3% more to build.
Home Performance Upgrade
Upgrading an existing building by adding insulation, air sealing, and a correctly sized HVAC system. Most homes reach an energy efficiency improvement of up to 70% by these measures.
HVAC System Update and Installation
Especially with older homes it's not always possible to optimize insulation or the building envelope. In this case the focues lies solely on the air conditioning system.
